Profile

Profile introduction

• By default, profiles are stored into ~/.mozilla/firefox/ folder.

• The file ~/.mozilla/firefox/profiles.ini describes the available profiles. Here is its specification .

• TIP : firefox -silent: initialize a default profile ( cli options ) but does not creates everything.

• Important files used by a profile

• In a running instance, use Menu -> Help -> Troubleshooting Information to find location
